Terms of service

Effective July 5, 2026

1. The service

Inspect Grade evaluates the quality of home-inspection reports against published Standards of Practice and produces scorecards, findings, and coaching summaries. It is a quality-assurance and training tool for inspection professionals.

2. What it is not

Evaluations assess how a report documents a property — they are not a home inspection, a re-inspection, an engineering opinion, or legal advice, and they make no representation about the condition of any property. Evaluations are AI-generated and can be imperfect; employment, licensing, and disciplinary decisions are yours, and should never rest on an evaluation alone.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the reports you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to process them and produce your evaluations. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — including any client information your reports contain — and for your team's use of the service.

4. Accounts & acceptable use

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, resell it without an agreement, or upload content that's unlawful or that you lack rights to.

5. Billing

Paid plans bill monthly in advance and include the evaluation volume listed on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period. During early access, pricing commitments we make to you in writing are honored for 12 months after general availability.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On closure, your data is deleted per our privacy policy.
