Privacy policy

The short version

You upload inspection reports so we can grade them. We use them for that, store them in your organization's account, and show them only to your team. We don't sell your data, and report content is never used to train AI models.

What we collect

  • Account data — names, email addresses, and roles for the users your organization creates.
  • Report content — the inspection reports you upload or link, and the evaluations we generate from them. Reports often contain property addresses and client names; treat your uploads accordingly, and only submit reports you have the right to share.
  • Contact messages — what you send through our contact form, so we can reply.
  • Operational logs — standard technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) kept for security and debugging.

How we use it

  • To produce evaluations — the service you're paying for.
  • To operate accounts: invites, sign-in, password resets.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we don't use your report content for advertising or to train machine-learning models. Report text is processed by our AI provider under terms that prohibit training on it.

Who can see your data

Evaluations are visible to your organization's owners and to the inspector each evaluation belongs to. Our platform administrators can access organization data when needed to operate and support the service. Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, AI processing) are bound by contract to use it only to provide their service to us.

Retention & deletion

Your reports and evaluations stay in your account until you delete them or close your account. When your organization leaves, we delete its data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep specific records longer.

Your choices

You can ask us to export or delete your personal data at any time at [email protected]. If you're an inspector at a company using Inspect Grade, your account is administered by your company — start there for account-level requests.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email account owners before the change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
